Duplicate Title Tags Webmaster Tools - URL 1: Has No Date, URL 2: Has Date Appended -


so going through google webmaster clean out 404's , check overall site health, , i've discovered 200 posts have been flagged having duplicate title tags.

so here's 1 common example. post seems have 2 versions, 1 out date format , 1 with. there isn't 2 versions of post in database, it's 1 post guess has been indexed twice. believe played changing permalink format while back, remove date, pretty sure few posts slipped through.

wondering easiest way ignore/fix/noindex/redirect 'non date' version (last line) these few 100 posts.

to clarify permalink structure is:

imjustcreative.com/example-post/2012/02/02

i did think use yoasts canonical link feature in each 'edit post' , set canonical link appropriately, not sure if that's possible each post viewable in it's own formate, ie can view each of post versions without automatic url structure change.
