Excel chart with countries in y-axis, % in x-axis, circles as markers and control groups -


do know if chart, shown in following image, can done in excel?

i don't know how kind of chart named, cannot search in web tutorials. don't need display 3 points on every row in chart (one enough), , can mark control group manually.

yes can done in excel.

if want vertical orientation on picture above, should use scatter chart quite modifications. set x values of series values , y values can 1,2,3,4,5.... biggest problem approach how display correct categories. there tool , discussed here: https://superuser.com/questions/485883/how-to-create-dynamic-scatter-plot-matrix-with-labels-and-categories-on-both-axi

for horizontal 1 can use normal line chart - hidden line , markers visible (excel doesn't support vertical line graphs).

even 3 groups easy do, need add 3 series , format them accordingly.

the lines quite easy do, add minor / major gridlines chart , format well.
