jquery - how to retrieve and update GAE datastore data from javascript client -


i beginner of programming such html, css, xml, jquery, jquery mobile , python.
therefore, shorten learning curve of creating mobile app, decided use phonegap (html, css, xml, jquery, jquery mobile) create mobile javascript client , deploy python gae db datastore.

i'd deployed sample (https://developers.google.com/appengine/docs/python/images/usingimages) gae (adding data , image) dont know how retrieve , update gae datastore javascript mobile client.

i found articles saying convert db datastore image , data json object , using javascript's ajax, json, xhr or xmlhttprequire retrieve , update datastore.

first, wish know if in correct pave. second, can find complete tutorial, book , etc teaching mentioned above , third if in wrong pave way best beginner me learn storing data , image cloud database , retrieve using mobile app.

i have tried mit ai2. quite platform me learn mobile app beginner con ai2 didnt provide article teaching way upload image db datastore. build in tinywebdb not accept image can upload image somewhere else url refer tinywebdb. thanks.
