asp.net - Set up an object so I don't have to edit it on SQL Server and VB.net project? -


currently, have following setup objects interact sql server database. simplify process can more efficient writing project. in rails able run generator , adds/edits database, connectors, , model files. find quick , efficient process working objects. however, on vb.net/asp.net have current setup objects.

  • xsd file: use datatables here store columns attributes of objects (ex: firstname, lastname, etc.)
  • class vb file: use store functions getting, retrieving, saving (etc.) objects , database.
  • sql server stored procedures: use writing retrieves, saving, deletion methods objects.
  • sql server tables: use storing objects.

i setup save time editing in 1 place objects , other being taken care of.

is possible?
