i'm using firebase , backbone (backfire) create social network, firebase close integrated backbone syntax-wise.

my goal make privacy-oriented possible, since german law wouldn't allow me spy on users begin with. here problem firebase:

in response legal process may disclose information collect in order comply law, judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal process, such in response court order or subpoena.

which means government spy user data , there nothing can here, since law applies.

is there alternative service either allow me run own server, or not based? i'm not able find service has been integrated good.
