eclipse - Projects disappears from PyDeb Package Explorer... what am i doing wrong> -


i trying grips pydev, git , egit. when import project pydev disappears straight away.

i followed excellent video tutorial here how connect egit (eclipse) github account , able download test project made in work

i attempt add project pydev package explorer can work on @ home. thought should simple ended using tutorial (eclipse / pydev features: import existing project)

the steps ....

  1. right click in pydev package explorer window

  2. file->import

  3. navigate root directory project want import. (the root directory directory in find .project , pydevproject files.

  4. usually find 1 project in directory. select project want import

  5. now press finish , eclipse import project eclipse session.

however when imported project appears brief second in pydev package explorer disappears

it stay in resource tab of eclipse. doing wrong?

any appreciated.

the pydev package explorer doesnt seem different ordinary package explorer, guess issue working sets.

in view menu of pydev package explorer, top elements? if working sets, go select working sets... verify have selected working sets, , projects in working set.
