.htaccess - Internal server error 500 wordpress on server alias -


i have installed wordpress site client.

the site works fine on local system test server not on live server. domain created alias of existing site. homepage displays fine internal pages show blank 500 internal server error in firebug console.

for past 3 days i've searched , applied sorts of fixes .htaccess, code etc doesn't seem fix.

what i've tried:

  1. uploaded code , database twice.
  2. generated .htaccess fresh using permalinks settings of wordpress.(there no custom rules in .htaccess)
  3. set php code display errors there none, notices.
  4. talked server hosting guy , got memory limit increased.

what i've not tried yet:

  1. persue client create subdomain instead of alias.

please suggest possible fixes. thanks!

update: issue resolved: memory issue on server. disabling few resource-heavy plugins pointed me in right direction.
