c++ - Will debug version of static lib disclose source code info? -


i writing c++ static library visual c++ 2008 , sell developers. find necessary provide 2 versions static library, is, release version , debug version, developers can compiled corresponding project static library.

however, debug version of static library, disclose of information of source codes? of course, not want happen.

the source codes information not disclosed debug version, wants reverse engineer code, make easier. see here: decompile c code debug info?

on other hand, not providing debug version not make harder who's determined, may stop worrying it.

you can make libraries open source , still sell commercial licences. accessibility of source code irrelevant making profit it.
