phpmyadmin - Uppercase mysql tables not working after MAMP 3 update -

after mamp 3 update, can't edit or view mysql tables uppercase letters. on phpmyadmin, tables has listed, when click on table, received error:

#1146 - table xxx.xxx doesn't exist.

i'm having same problem right now.
seems bug, because lower_case_table_names=2, default macos, mysql should convert table names lowercase on comparison.

but mike brant pointed out: use lowercase letters, avoid problems!

for quick workaround lowercase tables, added file my.cnf conf folder:

/applications/mamp/conf/my.cnf

added following content:

[mysqld] lower_case_table_names=0

and restarted server.

you should use rename tables. after renamed tables in mysql (e.g. via phpmyadmin) , in code, remove file , restart again.
