java - how to pass dropdown selected value from one jsp to another in springs -


i have 2 jsp pages in spring project. in first jsp have 1 dynamic dropdown list , 1 link tag directs second jsp page. want pass selected item of dropdown list second jsp. how can pass parameter selected value in href , how can value in second jsp.

<form:select id="id" path="id">         <form:options items="${idlist}">     </form:select>      <a href="<%=basepath%>secondpage"> second page </a>

because u want pass via tag, href attribute, add onchange handler on select tag, @ handler modify href attribute of second page link. should use javascript.
