code signing - Maven GPG Plugin 1.4 works fine, but 1.5 does not work -


i trying sign packaged jars etc. maven gpg plugin (http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-gpg-plugin/sign-mojo.html).

i found on several sites (for example here: https://docs.sonatype.org/display/repository/how+to+generate+pgp+signatures+with+maven ) hint, 1 following code in once pom.xml:

unfortunately, if this, , run maven package gpg:sign, stops when trying sign. if add <version>1.4</version> (like in maven gpg plugin not signing sources , javadoc jars), works fine. normally, uses version 1.5, , if specify should use version, not work. know reason of behavoir is, , how need configure maven-gpg plugin run correctly version 1.5?
