node.js - store the temporary data in memory array or database -


just wonder if need store temporary data in memory array or database(nosql)?

is there performance difference?

somebody said nodejs dangerous cache data in memory, may lead memory leak. , cannot afford big data.

there number of options storage media, best profiling specific application , making determination. may find overhead of connecting storage, storing , retrieving data outweighs improvements in memory footprint. might find opposite - need profile application know.
