Import a table from oracle 11g to create ER diagram using ERWIN tool -


i trying import table oracle database erwin tool in order create er diagram. can please let me know how can this???

the best way reverse engineer oracle database (assuming have valid erwin license.

in erwin, go tools / reverse engineer / , choose reverse engineer directly database or script, dbms type , version connecting to.
next dialog box prompt specify database object need information , granularity of properties of metadata each object chosen. there other option choose relating owners, tablespace options ability infer primary key via index / names.
finally, next dialog box prompt connect oracle instance , depending on rights object (schema), etc., erwin generate new diagram in erwin version r9, main subject area stored display in r7 , r8 (this same diagram in r9).

if trying reverse engineer 1 or "n" number of tables might best generate script oracle , use erwin r/e (reverse engineer) using script option. or try complete compare against blank model.. functionality , more complex , should treated subject matter discussion wanted make mention known practice.
