javascript - Change navbar collapse width Twitter Bootstrap 3 -


i attempting workout how modify collapse width of navbar within bootstrap 3 collapse @ earlier width. have found several suggestions none seem work. closest got code post twitter bootstrap 3 navbar-collapse - set width collapse

here's post used:

this causes collapse happen when want however, breaks collapse @ same time. collapse button appears when it's supposed when click on menu appears second , automatically closes. there way stop auto close?

there easy way do this,

  1. click here customize bootstraps less variables
  2. change @grid-float-breakpoint size of choice
  3. click compile , download
  4. use resulting css on page!
