virtual machine - VM version or Live Cd version: where is the difference? -


a linux distro wish use, through vm, offers me options of live dvd or vm version. both iso images. have done differently inside isos? suppose i'd go vm anyway, without knowing makes different.

the vm version supposed installed on virtual machine. live dvd designed run dvd , uses special tricks temporary storage etc. designed not change system (for running distro) running live dvd.

the vm version has other optimizations , have access own partitions etc. without actual distribution cannot sure whether there other differences.

ruby on rails - In a controller spec, how to find a specific tag in the generated view? -
